Ever wanted to help shape the DHL Express network? The successful candidate will help shape the future of the DHL Express Americas by assisting in the design & implementation of new air routes throughout the region, in addition to supporting their improved utilization.

DHL Express currently has an opening for a Network Planning Analyst atour Erlanger, KY CVG HUB Facility.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyzes statistical data and prepares analysis to review and support proposed Aviation network changes.

  • Summarizes findings to present to management in the form of Network Change Requests and/or Business Case Analysis using defined business rules and processes.

  • Produces reports for management that draw data from various sources to aid in tracking business unit objectives.

  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional (hub, gateway, field operations, etc.) stakeholders to review, modify, and implement network changes.

  • Monitors effectiveness of network changes and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into future proposals.

  • Develops and follows appropriate processes and procedures for accomplishing work.

  • Takes part in various departmental projects and processes.

  • May assist in training efforts for assigned DHL business unit.

  • May provide functional guidance, advice and/or training to less-experienced network planning professionals.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Logistics or Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network planning, or a related field within the express logistics industry

  • Clear and effective communication skills to convey complex analysis findings to stakeholders at various levels.

  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to long-term network planning and optimization initiatives.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas. Familiarity with other data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R may be advantageous.

  • The role will be primarily on 1stshift, but the successful candidate needs the ability to work a variety of shifts within a 24hr period.

  • Ability to travel within the region (<10% of the time)

  • Knowledge of DHL reporting systems including OPMS & BARDW is a plus but not required.
